Volkswagen, Europe’s leading car manufacturer, has unveiled the Polo GTI at the 13th edition of the Delhi Auto Expo. The Polo GTI is truly India’s hottest hatchback and one of the most powerful car in its segment equipped with a 1.8 TSI engine mated with a 7 – speed DSG gear box. Under the hood of the Polo GTI is Volkswagen’s celebrated and established TSI engine technology which combines direct gasoline injection with turbo charging and produces 141 KW (192 PS) of raw power.
The Polo GTI is a sporty car with impressive red GTI insignia, distinctive side sills and GTI- specific rear spoiler. In terms of safety, the Polo GTI comes fitted with ABS, ESP & Hill-hold functions and airbags as standard features. Along with driver safety, comfort and world-class driving experience forming the crux of Volkswagen’s product design philosophy, the Volkswagen Polo GTI engine comes equipped with the capability of delivering EU 6 emissions norms.
