Porsche Cayenne (2012 model) available at Rs 5 lakh

Well, this is not a republic day sale. But the good news for you, if you want to own one of the luxury cars for a great price. Here's how.

You need to land in south of India, Chennai.There are thousands of expensive model cars, including Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, Jaguar, Porsche and Bentley, which are being sold at a starting price of Rs 2 lakh.

These cars are not faulty but, they have the 'damages' suffered during the recent floods in Chennai.

The price of BMW 3 series starts at Rs 6 lakh, a 2015 Audi A4 is available at Rs 3.4 lakh, and a Porsche Cayenne (2012 model) is available at Rs 5 lakh.

Around 10,000 vehicles, at as low as 40 percent of its original market price is expected to be sold here. According to claims filed to insurance companies, by dealers, as many as 30,000 cars were damaged in the flood.

Nissan India ramps up service operations to assist customers in Chennai

Following the week-long calamity due to excessive rains and floods, all Nissan service centers are now operational in Chennai. The workshops are all set to help Chennai based customers and speed up the process of repair work of vehicles damaged by flood. The company has also rolled out a special toll free helpline number 0124-6628111 to cater to customers in Chennai.



Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. has done a remarkable deed by reaching out to more than 8,000 valued customers in Chennai through SMS, emails and social media posts to inform them about the services and re-opening of workshops. The company is helping the customers through its social media platforms by providing them with tips on avoiding consequential damages which may not be covered under insurance. 

Nissan will soon be organizing a service camp in Chennai inviting the customers to reap the benefits of the same. The service camp will cover thorough check-up of all the vehicles with additional discounts on Nissan Genuine Accessories.

Making the announcement, Mr. Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd said, "At Nissan, we are aware of the difficulties faced by people in Chennai due to unprecedented rains. We are taking all possible steps to reach out to our customers, employees and partners, and support them in getting back to their normal life and routine."

Nissan Motor India is going all out to support its customers in Chennai to revive their vehicles damaged in floods. Dealers are operating mobile vans to attend to customers at their residences. The company has provided additional space & technicians to the dealers for speedy turnout of vehicles. The company has also given top priority to parts supply for Chennai dealers.
